When I added Pebbles to the family, I read some where that they should have their own things. So, I have separate food bowls, separate beds they use during the day and even separate potty pads down, just incase they have a problem going in the same spot. But Pebbles only came with 2 toys, a tennis ball & a childs stuffed toy, so, she is in heaven playing with all of Lucy's toys
who hasn't seemed to mind to much about sharing them.
Good luck which ever way you go. I do know my Lucy is so happy to have a playmate now, she turned 4 years old a month before we got Pebbles. That was a long time to be alone when her humans were gone.
