So i homecook... but use kibble when travelling and it goes in layla's kong (she thinks its a treat if its in there
) But now with the pancreas issues, I need a low fat (6% or under) kibble. I really only wanted to feed Natural Balance, becuase i do believe it is the best... BUT their reduced calorie food has chicken as its main protein, and Layla is allergic... so i started looking around.. and EVERY senior dog food (They tend to be low in fat aswell) or reduced calorie dog food of any quality have chicken... anyways.. i bought the NB because it also has lamb and venison i believe... and i'm hoping since there is more than one protein source it will all even out.. plus she doesnt' get it often... but does a low fat NON chicken kibble exist????
