That's an awesome bed, very regal! As previously mentioned by others, I'd be concerned that it would be chewed on. I'm not worried so much for the looks of the bed being destroyed, but rather the safety of the pup. Those pillows, and the cords, have pieces on them that could be swallowed, and these little guys LOVE to chew, especially when they're teething. I lost my dog Starr to a piece of a pencil, so when I see a choking or intestinal blockage (if swallowed) hazard, I feel I must say something.
I'm sure that you'll both be very careful and only let him be in that lovely bed under your supervision
