I just wanted to stop in for a second and tell everyone how much I appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers. I was actually holding his hand when he died and that is something I will always be grateful for. His last words to me were "I love you baby, you know that" and that is something else I can hold onto.

He was a huge animal lover and one of his wishes was that in leiu of flowers, that people make a donation to the local animal shelter. They have already started receiving donations in his name and that really makes me feel better to realize that some animals are going to get the help they need because of him.
