What happened to your daughter is just awful! I have a "soccer" niece who runs just like your daughter.

Her Mom and Dad live in the country, too. My niece was chased a couple of times, but luckily wasn't bitten. I bought her pepper spray that fits in the front of her bra and she carries it with her every time she runs now.

I talked to her Mom (my sister) and we both hate for her to have to use it on a dog - but the one that chased her is HUGE! I believe this dog was just toying with her the first time, but I know she would be gravely injured if she were attacked by it.

I pray that your daughter is all right. Stick to your guns! I hope you can have something done about your situation.
