I'm not sure if the attack was provoked or not, but I would get your daughter treated (human rabies vacc). You can actually get the vaccine AFTER a bite because it takes several months for the virus to activate and cause problems. But I would do it ASAP. I'm not sure if the attack was provoked but any animal that attacks unprovoked and in particular, this dog was unvaccinated should be quarantined for observation.
