It happened after your situation settled down. So, you had nothing to do with it.
I made sure my niece's door was closed after my incident. Several minutes later I walked by, and saw that her door was open, and you know who was in her room chewing on something. Turns out, her latch is broken, so he just pushes the door open. Never a dull moment.
