I would call the vet & confirm that they won't be giving pain meds.

If they aren't I would really consider going to another vet.

Both my girls were spade and came home on a combo pain med & antibiotic for 7 days. They also had teeth pulled and were microchipped at the same time but that should not make a difference.

Can you imagine not having any pain meds after surgery?? yikes...I had a hysterectomy and cannot even imagine no pain meds...
