Homecooked I READ THIS ABOUT THE TURKEY...
Turkey itself is not a problem - in fact you'll find many dog foods with turkey in them. It's what part of the turkey you give them that can cause a problem (the same is true of any other meat). The reason dogs usually get sick is that people give them the fatty parts of the meat, causing pancreatitis. That's why I specifically said the trim off all of the fat. The lean parts will not make your dog sick unless you dog has an allergy to it...
Also ...
many dog foods have turkey in it...
our rule is moderation ...
another factor that made us change is the pup would be sick from the shots shaking and fever, not eating...hide under the couch...
so we would made a nice chicken breast soup with a little pasta and some bok choy a dash of organic olive oil...
we could get him to come out from under the couch and eat a bit...
next day he would be okay..just like us when we are sick..nothing like a nice homemade soup..
why we think a food in a
bag is nutritious and full of good things for our dogs ?
i do not understand anymore...
those companies are making a fortune on who knows what ?
at least i know what my dog eats...
could u imagine eating cereal everyday ever meal all of ur life ?
animals in the wild also have variety...
of FRESH FOOD...
of course not Deep Fried Foods ... |
