Some people don't give turkey because they are nervous about it causing pancreatitis or they think there are preservatives that affect dogs in it.
It must be preserved with the same thing as other meats and white meat turkey (breast) is very lean. Ellie does fine with it. I would not give dark meat or any skin or fat whatsoever. By turkey breast I mean the frozen ones that weigh somewhere around 10 pounds....never lunch meat.
