This type of statement from my vet would concern me greatly! I don't know what your history with this vet is, but if it was me, I'd be looking ASAP for a new vet. For him to shrug it off and allow you dog to go that long with diarrhea is criminal IMHO.
I'm so glad you found a food that works for Baxter and that he is doing better.
