YES! Both are correct. When my grandson was 2 months old I took him to see an exhibit of Elsa Schiaparelli's couture at the Academy of Art. I'm hoping he becomes a famous designer!!
I thought #1 would be the easiest. It's a man and he's still living; whereas #3 is a man who is deceased, unfortunately.
