To say that they are getting drunk from this is ridiculous. If you don't wish to use it anymore that's up to you, I'm just trying to give people another side, I just don't think it's as dangerous as you suggest. I just want to add, I am not selling the product, and I in no way have anything to do with the company. I don't see how your link says anything about Petzlife, did I miss it?
My statements are exactly from the Dr. When I told him I used the Petzlife, he said he's been to their site and they make a lot of claims. He also said it contains a lot of alcohol and did say I could be making them drunk. I said I used CET toothpaste. He said that too claims to have special enzymes, but in reality a dogs mouth has very powerful enzymes of their own that do the job of killing bacteria. I said I brush Roxy's teeth after each meal, and he said that is the BEST that could do and that I don't even need toothpaste, it would just be for flavor for her. He said he is 'trying' to make a toothpaste that would aid the dogs mouth, but it is difficult b/c they already have their own very powerful enzymes in their mouth, so it is difficult to try and beat that.

I honestly do not have the time or desire to research Petzlife - feel free to do that yourself. If you really like the GSE - you can buy it at the vitamin store. I just don't see the need to be giving my dogs alcohol, I have no idea what dental properties it could possibly have...

I gave that link to Dr. Carmichael as you suggested he may be in it for the money. I disagree, as I think who he is, is impressive and I think he credential are outstanding. "if and when" he does create a toothpaste, I will let everyone know about it. And people can pick and choose to use and do whatever they want.
