Last night Maggie threw up a couple of times. We thought maybe she was just feeling kinda down so we let her rest. After an hour or so, we gave the dogs dinner. Well she threw that up also. I called the emergency vet and they said to just keep an eye on her unless she seemed to drastically change. We took her temperature and it was normal. The weird thing was that she wasn't acting differently at all! She was happy and peppy as normal, so I didn't feel the need to take her in. She threw up during the night and also after breakfast so we decided to take her in to our normal vet.
She told us that sometimes dogs just get sick
, so she prescribed some anti-nausea medicine and some antibiotics because she was concerned about a possible uterine infection. We got home and Franklin had thrown up a couple of times too so now they are both on the anti-nausea medicine. Hopefully everyone is okay!
