This is an excellent thread and maybe admin might make this a sticky.
For me the most important point, is what am I trying to improve? and how do I do it? And am I prepared to keep all the puppies until they are spayed or neutered if I don't see an improvement? The economy is poor but the vet wants his payments and it is very costly to properly raise a litter until they are old enough and big to be spayed/neutered and placed especially if they aren't pre-sold.
