Crystal i am BEYOND frustrated with the Gluc... i'm going to try to reintroduce the one i have now (kinda looks like salt... so not an oil) into her nightly snack of yogurt and fruit and see if she'll take it that way... |
The problem with giving it in treats in that it may not be a source that Layla can use (or it may be). All this scientific stuff goes into it like source and I think some type of weight. If she is eating them, I'd say why not try it for a couple months but I wouldn't expect them to do much.
If you are still not wanting to go the Cosequin route, can you get samples of SynoviG3 (some ortho surgeons recommend it) or Glycoflex (Ellie's vet likes it..don't know why) there?
