So sorry for your loss. My father was only 48, when he passed away from a rare liver disease. It is now 24 years later, and I am the same age as he was when he passed. It's amazing how fast time goes, and it does lessen the pain of the loss. I still miss him, but am able to smile when I think of him. Relish your fond memories of your father, that is what will get you through this difficult time.
