How is swimming going?

It sounds like she needs a great source of glucosamine.
That has got to be frustrating for you.

What are the grades now?
we took a break from swimming because I wasn't sure if it was helping or not and we started walking more (the swimming was during the summer when it was too hot to walk) but i think we'll start it back up. The vet recommended Gluc. and I told her the problems we were having with it... and then i told her about the treats i found that were highly infused with Gluc. and she said that it was much better than nothing. She said that the back left leg is slipping more (when she manually moves it) and is probably between 1.5-2 and the right leg (which i notice she picks up) is probably only 1.5... so that's the good news!!! Last time I was there she thought they were closer to stage 2 so i'm glad she was more accurate this time...and giving me the 1.5 instead of rounding up

Crystal i am BEYOND frustrated with the Gluc... i'm going to try to reintroduce the one i have now (kinda looks like salt... so not an oil) into her nightly snack of yogurt and fruit and see if she'll take it that way...
