Our yorkie chases our cat too. sometimes I think she likes it and tries to get him to chase her on purpose. To make the adjustment easier for her, since we had her first, we put up a baby gate at the door to the office and to our bedroom. These two places are her safe haven. Her food and litter are in the office and she spends most of the day in there and then she sleeps in the bedroom with us at night. This way she can get away from our little hethan which seems to really help everyone sanity. I really feel there is a way for all your animals to coexist. they may never become friends and love on each other, but they will learn to get along it will just take time.
