Hm. I don't know anything about leashes affording you more control over the dog, but when I used a leash on Mocha + Lulu, it didn't give me more "control".
But maybe it's just me. I train my dogs using common sense. We don't have obedience classes here in Jakarta, only dog schools, and for that you have to send your dogs to them for 2-3 months.
