Sasha is 7 months also and is the same way. I'd venture to say 5 minutes after I comb/brush her she begins to look scruffy because she hates to be combed/brushed and as soon as I'm done she'll jump down and start to wiggle around on the floor and try to mess up my hard work.
She's a wild child...lol
