Teething can also cause them to go off their food. Could it be that he is having trouble crunching it? When Gracie was teething I would put some kibble in a sandwich bag and take a hammer and crack it. Even though it was the small bites it still seemed as though Gracie was having trouble crunching it herself. She would eat it if I cracked it and not touch the kibble in the other bowl. When I saw her eating out of Boo's bowl again I knew it was ok to give it to her whole again. The only bad thing was that Boo thought she was getting something "special" and ate her cracked kibble before eating the food out of his bowl. So for a few months I was cracking kibble for a 5 month old and a 6 year old.
