I have an ORECK at home in Alabama and a newer one here in Colorado. I love them!! I bought the first one because after 3 back surgeries, the doctor told me not to vacuum, mop, etc. [I know, that would make most people happy ... but, Patrick just doesn't vacuum to suit me!
