I just introduced Innova to my little one, she simply loves it. I think that as humans, we have the natural tendency to give someone MORE food than they can handle-- I think that is how we have this obesity epidemic, as they call it. To relate it to dogs, I just don't think we know how little their stomachs are or can comprehend such a tiny stomach. I, myself, got Gastric Bypass surgery a year and some months ago and even with my stomach so surgically small, I can even eat more than my little one and still have the mentality that she can eat more than what she actually can.
Bella sometimes will sniff the food, eat a bit, then walk away. I think that as long as the food is readily available, it is only natural that she WILL eat if she's hungry. |
