 just no cats!
As sad as I am, we must start looking to place our guy in a new home. Rusty is an energetic, bright, people lover, who is most definitely an alpha male. He was an expert at pottie training and continues to be perfect at that. The sole problem is that I own two declawed house cats and he just can't cannot resist chasing them at every opportunity. I've tried to my wits end to stop the behavior, but I'm believing now that it may be a lost cause with his personality type. It is now causing enough stress if our family that I believe Rusty would be happier with a family without cats. Rusty has also been raised with a lab who he loves to pal around with but also can be tormenting at times primarily because of the differences in their age and activity levels. We live in the Seattle area and hope that someone out there could enjoy all his other wonderful qualities. He even smiles when you come home! |
