I use frontline on both my dogs and cat every 2 months during the summer and every three months during the winter. I vacuum every day and wash bedding once a week ( yes, I am a clean freak). I also put a dab on lavender and tea tree oil on their collars every few days and mist them with a few drops of lavender and tea tree oil mix with water. I also mist my furniture after I vacuum. I have not seen any fleas or ticks and my cat is outside 80 percent of the time, we back up to a large dairy farm and have a lot of trees and leaves. I only use the frontline every couple of months because my boxer is sensitive and I hate using any chemicals on them or have it near my family. I really thing that vacuuming keeps them away and I have heard that they can't stand the smell of lavender. It works for me!
