Don't need a special license. Well gas is high anyway and this will take more gas than the SUV.. But we usually travel in MIkes SUV and it is a V-8 so it isn't cheap either. Then we pay between 300-500 plus parking for a 3 day weekend at hotels, then there is the meals. We will use this a lot when I go to teddy bear shows. We can stay in KOA's which are really nice for less than $30/day. And they threw in a 1 yr membership to any Thousand Trails campgrounds. I can't wait to use it. We drive to Phoenix all the time to visit my grandkids and stay in hotels there too, so I think it will save money.. PLUS it will be SO much fun and ALL of the dogs can go with us.
