Thank you all. Lucy has a sore throat. She was checked out from head to toe ( did not like having her temp taken). Our vet said her throat is a little inflamed, and since she's had tonsillitis before, gave her a shot for nausea and an antibiotic.
She threw up again in the car on the way home, and in the house once we got back. (she gets carsick, though) I called the vet again and she said it would take a little bit for the anti nausea med to kick in, but to call her before 11:00 tomorrow morning to let her know how she's feeling.
She said to be on the safe side, to feed her plain rice this evening and tomorrow then give her a little cottage cheese just in case her stomach still wasn't settled.
WHEW, scares me to death!
