I have the same sort of problem with my 4 month old. Chase always goes #2 on the pee pads, but he will sometimes miss the mark with peeing. I have hardwood floors all throughout the apartment, but if I leave anything on the floor and he will "mistake" it for a pee pad. He is not very good at holding it yet since I only crate him at night. I'm training him to go outside right now, but he's been holding it during walks and waits to go on the pee pads. LOL! From reading all the posts on YT, it seems like everyone has difficulties with potty training. Don't be discouraged! Just try to be as consistent as you can.

Good luck!
