I have had some awful migraines too. I went to the ER once. Imitrex has been my saviour.
You might try this--it sounds strange but it works. It is a meditation technique that really helps.
Lie down in a dark room and focus on the spot where the pain is. Just really focus on it as you breathe normally. You'll still feel the pain, but it won't be painful..... I know it's wierd, but try it. You will get some relief.
This is a proven meditation technique that people use to deal with pain all the time. You'll get better at it the more you do it. |
