The main problem with home cooking is that you do not have the much needed supplements. Garlic is really not a good idea. Too much broccoli and cauliflower isn't good either. Oil is good and is needed - but it has to be raw, not heated. KFC is BAD - please don't feed that.

If you do not have access to 'better' kibble and you want to home cook, I can recommend a Nutritionist from Cornell University. They charge $140 for (1) homecooked recipe, and IMO is well worth it, because you would be told the proper vitamins and nutrients to add to the cooked meal (and portions as well).
