I try to make a carrier as comfortable as possible. I put a little fleece blanket in it and make it all cozy. Now I dont travel with chloe a lot so when she is in a carrier its just to get her to and from somewhere quickly. I dont think she minds our carrier at all. Actually she seems to like it. Now a "puppy purse" is not a regualar carrier. Its is a thing that a dog wears with a strap so you carry the dog. IMO it looks unfortable for the dog. See my pic below. I dont think a dog can enjoy being hung from a persons shoulder like that. The idea is cute but I dont think it is entirely practical or keeping the dogs safety in mind.
