Hey, greetings!

Hmm to be honest, if you really have no way to get the better kibbles, I would feed raw, or yes, homecook, but without the rice. Carbohydrates isn't good for dogs - and that's a fact. I would give meat, meat, meat and more meat. If you do homecook, use meat as the base diet, not rice. My 2 year old shihtzu ate homecooked rice and chicken for less than a year, and she has VERY bad teeth - I will show you pictures if you'd like. Please also, no garlic or olive oil. I don't know how much you're giving, but garlic isn't good for dogs, and olive oil I'm not sure, but I wouldn't take chances. What I know is that ppl that homecook usually boil, steam or puree - not fry.

And please, no KFC chickens! It's deep fried, and it's chemically enhanced chickens! Even I as a human who can process most crap in fast food, would not eat it. Please do not give such fatty things to your dogs.

I myself feed Orijen, but planing to switch to Prey Model Diet soon. Check it out on the net. I think it will be convenient for you if your country is anything like mine - in my country we handle raw meat everyday.

But this is just my humble opinions. I still have a lot to learn. If I say anything wrong in this post, someone please correct me. I think other members here may have some kind of better solution for you
