I then make sure they chew on Bullies and occasional RMBs. Their teeth are beautiful.
I spend about $40 a month to feed pre-made to my 2 guys. |
$40

I don't think I can swing that

my bag of 7kg Orijen costs about that, and I estimate that will last me about 3-4months.
I talked to my mom (Lulu is her dog after all), she seems to be taking the idea really well. I'm very surprised

Also asked her about the price of free range chicken meat, as I think I will be feeding that mostly, and she says depending on how much the dogs eat, she thinks it will most likely be cheaper than the commercial dog food. I'm not quibbling over money here, but it is a bonus
I am still working out what/how to feed if my whole family have to go away, or if we take them to vacations. Aside from that, I don't mind the inconveniences.. I'm not iffy about raw meat, I have a big freezer and I have worked out on how to make each meal convenient
Right now I'm just working out on the "proper" things to feed them, ratios and all.. This is actually fun to do! I have to say research on raw feeding is less stressful than looking for the right kibble

now THAT was a pain in my petunia.. I just want the best for my babies.
Thanks Wylie's Mom!
