I actually talked to our vet about this issue. My niece Summer is in the hospital with Lukemia,but just before being diagnosed her parents had purchased a Peekapoo all white. She has tears. He said the stains can be caused by dyes in their food,as well as theeir natural tear production. I later found out the puppy food Dana baught and sent with the puppy, was Purina Puppy Chow...OMG!!!! Threw that out. He recommended the liquid taer wash that you get in Petsmart( the name escapes me) I also purchased Nutro puppy bites and they are dye free,all natural. We'll see how she does. I mentioned the pill,but he thought that was too extreme.
