I know what you mean, and if you read the sick forums it's even worse, you can get really paranoid. I think there are a few common sense things that you can do to prevent some of the most common accidents. To me the number one thing you must always do, is never take your Yorkie outside without a leash. Get a harness, not a collar, and leash, and use it every time you take your Yorkie outside. So many deaths occur because the puppy "usually" stayed close to the owner, but darted out in front of a car. These tragedies can so easily be prevented, if you always use a leash, no exceptions, ever. |
