I used purifeye last year for my morkie. I do remember that I anxiously had to wait quite a few weeks but then the staining totally stopped. After about six months I stopped giving it to him (had to cut back on some expenses) and I was glady surprised that the stains did not come back Not even to this day still completely clear. I do have to say that I only give bottled water I have heard that makes a difference too. But to get rid of the staining, Purifeye surely worked for us.
