I haven't studied CA's prop 8 (since I can't vote on it anyway

) but my understanding of it is it's eliminating the state's constitutional right for same sex marriage. Same sex couples would have no legal rights for themselves or their families. Sounds like a step backward. I would vote no if I could but I know it's pretty controversial and personal issue.
