I have a friend with a litter of Shih Tzus that are a month old and one of them is not using its back legs well. He will try to walk with them, but the legs sorta go out to the sides and are very weak. He tries really hard to walk, but his back end just goes limp it seems. But he does have some muscle tone and can move the legs. All I can think of is that there could have been some sort of injury at birth?
