Sorry I don't really have any advice but just wanted to let you know you're not alone. Yesterday Samson was chomping on something that he found in the yard.....here it was gum!!
So there he was just chewing on some gum and he was not about to give it up. Finally after a few minutes of trying to grab it out of his little clenched teeth I was able to get it out. Then a couple days ago I see him chewing on something that had grass stuck on it so I'm there trying to grab it out of his mouth and when I finally got it........it was some other dogs poo!!!!!!
How gross! I had it all over my hand. I have been trying to teach him to let go when we play with his toys so maybe he'll get a little better at that over time and it will work with other things he gets in his mouth too.
