There are so many other options out there. Rawhides seem to upset little doggies' tummies (in my experience) and like other posters have said, they are not fully digestible so it could lead to intestinal issues, I think it is because of the way they split off like splinters...don't want that!
I use bones that are fully digestible and have ridges that will help to clean my pups' teeth! I also use a lot of rubber toys with can halp with plaque.
