I've always wanted a rabbit. I've been doing research for a while now and I've narrowed my breeds down to a Netherland Dwarf or a Holland Lop.
Has anyone ever owned one of these rabbits? If yes, can you please share your experience. I will either get one from a breeder for rescue. I prefer to rescue but a lot of rescues don't like the idea of sending a rabbit to a home that has 3 dogs. So my next question is ...
How do you think a rabbit will do with 3 dogs? My dogs are extremely gentle and get along with other dogs and cats. They even like my friend's 2 guinea pigs (Tia tries to "clean" them hahaha). I don't think there will be any problems and I would definitely allow them to get use to each other on a very gradual basis -- it's not like I would just toss a bunny into the house without taking all necessary precautions.
PLEASE give me any info you can about rabbits, your experience with one and just what life with a rabbit is like in general -- day to day things. I've read a lot but reading about them and talking to people who've actually owned a rabbit are two very different things.
