I don't give bordetella. Layla had the shot last year- went and got groomed ... and eneded up with kennel cough. I have read that the kennel cough vaccine is similar to the flu shot- you can still GET the flu... so to me it's not worth it... i groom her myself, we don't go to dog parks and she goes to an in-home sitter. |
I do this too. When I see other dogs on my walks, I go the other way. I don't mean to be snobbish and all, but God knows what they have. I don't want to take chances. This is 3rd world country after all, and most ppl are sooooo ignorant about dogs.
