I woke up in the middle of my wrist surgery when I was 14. I didn't feel any pain though. I was very drowsy. They saw me open my eyes and start squirming some, then they put the gas mask thing back over my face and I was out again. Thankfully I didn't wake up during my knee surgery 1.5 years ago.
