We tried the litter box and it did not work. They just wanted to play with the litter that we put in it that we bought at the pet store. I was afraid they would choke on it. It was like newspaper pellets. We use the puppy pads and they work just fine. We use the arm and hammer ones as for some reason they always shred the ones from WalMart. We have only found the arm and hammer ones at Target or we have bought them off of Ebay since we don't have a Target close. We also use the washable ones that we bought here from YT member who makes them. We love those and I need to get more of them. I have had 3 since January and they are wearing out now.
