Oh man - I cut one of Darwin's back paw nails too short tonight, and he bled, but just a little bit. I feel sooooo bad! This is the first time I've ever made him bleed - all the other times, he squirms, but I have never hit the quick. He yelped so loud today, then started growling nervously when I touched his back paw again, so I stopped - this was only 3 nails into the whole process...I have the pedicure, but it takes a while to file down nails, so I was trying to hurry the process up today by clipping. Any suggestions on how to make his injured nail heal faster and feel better? I put neosporin on it... |
