We are expecting puppies anyday now and just have a question about pre-labor. We have been taking her temp. routinely every 12 hours and so far no drop yet. There has been no change to her external genitalia, but her milk is definitely coming in. Tonight we've noticed that she is quite swollen from her vagina to her first set of nipples, she did not appear this way this morning. She is still acting normally, eagerly eating as much as we will allow and no other changes. Does anyone know if this swelling is normal, and what it could mean? Thanks so much.
