 HELP: Mad Dashing!!
Hey Everyone. I am a new yorkie owner. Hercules is about 13 weeks old and we have had him for almost 3 weeks. He has been doing as good as can be expected with potty training (we live on the fourth floor and are using puppy pads), but recently when we take him over to potty, he will sniff like he is going to go, then just when he thinks your not looking he will make a mad dash to just run like crazy around the living room.
I have also noticed that he tries to eat everything in site. When we fist got him we would, of course, pick him up to get whatever he was trying to eat out of his mouth. Now when he has something he knows he is not supposed to have and sees us coming he will make another one of his mad dashes. Whenever we try to just pick him up to love on him, he has now gotten to where he will back up and act scared for us to pick him up.
