I like the cover being sewn on. I have the really thick reversible (tan/brown) dog blankets from Target in Baxter and Cooper's Kennels, and Baxter loves to dig and make his bed ***just right***. I paid $20 each for their blankets, so I don't think that is a bad price for a bed. I have purchased many of the pet stages toys, and have always been happy with the quality.
