Default Dezi's been good up until now

I have been working dry dog food into Dezi's diet for the past week to get back to a balanced diet.

She still gets sweet potato and chicken, but I am slowly reducing that and slowly increasing dry kibble mixed in.

I switched over to California Naturals because it is just chicken, brown rice and white rice with lots of nutritious stuff and simple ingredients seemed best for her.

I had put her back on Eukanuba after the last bout of IBS type distress, against my better judgment but she NEVER had a problem with this food and has had nothing but problems since I've tried the healthy foods.

As I worked in 3 kibbles of Cal Nat, she had no reaction. Then I increased to 6 for a day or two. She eats so little that this is like 25% of her meal.

She was doing great, no stool changes, just attitude changes cause she missed her gourmet meals.

Then after 4 days, I increased to about 75% Cal Nat and of course, the next morning, no appetite. No diarrhea or vomiting, but not herself. Mopey.

So I went back to sweet potato and chicken. She has her appetite back and is feeling better!!!

Should I just go back to Eukanuba? It seems so logical but I know it's not good food.

But it's not good for her to keep having this stuff happen either.

I am wondering if I jumped it up too quickly, but she had no problem for three days with the new food mixed in. I'm wondering if she is building an intolerance to the grains. She ate chick and rice food forever, though.

Any advice will be helpful.
